Letter From Recruitment Chair

Hello Ladies!

My name is Alyssa Ellick, and I am the Recruitment Chair of Phi Mu, Pi Chapter. Some girls think of recruitment as a scary and overwhelming process, and for others it is exciting and thrilling. Whatever you are feeling, know that recruitment can be a fun and valuable process. Making the choice to become part of the Greek Life community will change your life forever. Phi Mu works hard to make your recruitment process a positive experience. Going through recruitment will be a wonderful experience for you to explore Greek life and figure out where you will call home. Finding Phi Mu changed my life; it has given me opportunities to become a better leader, participating in philanthropy events, carrying on the traditions of our founders, and giving me sister who will always be their for me.  The unforgettable experiences I get to share with my sisters are forever and I am so happy to have found them. Finding a place to call home is something very special and rewarding, and Phi Mu is eager and excited to show what sisterhood can truly be.

I encourage all of you to consider going through recruitment at the University of Maine. This endeavor can be tiring and emotional, but in the end, it is completely worthwhile. I hope you go through this experience and find your home. We as a chapter look forward to seeing you this September during recruitment!

Sincerely,

Alyssa
