On December 12, 1912 the Pi chapter of Phi Mu was installed at the University of Maine. We pride ourselves in 101 consecutive years of sisterhood, and longstanding traditions.
The sisters of Pi chapter are committed to academic excellence, campus involvement, and community service. As a Phi Mu, we strive to uphold our three ideals: love, honor, and truth.

On Sunday April 27, 2014 Pi chapter said farewell to eight outstanding members. Sarah Montgomery, Kara Zadakis, Jamie Stuckey, Sophie Handrahan, Zandra Lafond, Marissa Sevey, Lindsey Dyer, and Catie Martin all ended their years as active members in our chapter. Even though there were many tears from sadness our chapter knows that these women will always continue walking with hearts of lions, being successful to every task they begin. Read more

Initiation: Fall 2013
On November 16, 2013 Pi chapter welcomed 20 beautiful new women into our sisterhood. We started off our day with our traditional letter swap, pictures, family lunch, and other chapter traditions. After the initiation ceremony, all of the sisters got together for a pizza night, and well deserved relaxation. Thank you to all the sisters who helped make this day special for our new sisters! Quidditch for CMN
This fall we hosted our second annual Quidditch Tournament. Several Greek and non-Greek organizations on campus came out to participate, and help us raise money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. We look forward to continuing this philanthropy event in years to come! Read more

Singing Like the Stars raises $500 for CMNH!
Pi Chapter held their first Singing Like the Stars lip-syncing competition on April 4th and raised over $500 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Special thanks to Samantha Bradley for working hard to put the event on and to all who participated and donated. Great work Pi Chapter! Read more
